Puppies and People, Too!

700 x 670 px - PAPTlogo_LGHotel Laguna is pleased to announce the addition of its newest street front boutique, Puppies and People, Too! at 451 Coast Highway. With its grand opening on Tuesday, April 26th, Puppies & People, Too is an already-popular store for dogs … and their people, too.

Hours are:
Sunday – Thursday, 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Fridays & Saturdays, 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.

Tuesdays and Fridays, 7:00 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.
“The Early Dog Gets the Bone” – free treats for dogs and coffee for their people.

Puppies & People understands that dogs require certain necessities beyond two square meals and an unending water supply for their daily activities. Sophisticated dogs, particularly dogs who settle in resort towns or bring their people to visit places like Laguna Beach, require those items in life that assure both a fashionable look and today’s latest must-haves in toys, hiking accouterments and biodegradable poop bags.

Created for resident dogs and traveling dogs from afar, Puppies is a one-stop shop for all those items their people might have forgotten for the trip or simply need to upgrade.

Items in the shop include leashes and collars printed or monogramed with the enviable name Laguna Beach, as well as new bedding, cushy cushions, treats and food. Also for sale will be water bowls (travel and for home), grooming brushes, cleaning wipes, chew toys, and bones.

At the same time, Puppies and People looks kindly on the people part of the equation, too. Because the store is nestled in the historic Hotel Laguna, the store offers beautiful jackets, polo-style shirts, beach bags, cups, water bottles, and sunny beach hats that memorialize the Grand Dame herself.

Puppies and People also carries items for the Hotel Laguna guests such as toothbrush/toothpaste, sewing kits, or other miscellaneous travel items that guests often forget to tuck into their travel bags.

Honoring its civil responsibility to the City of Laguna Beach, Puppies and People also directs resident and traveling pups to seasonal beach rules and applicable beaches, dog registration, and quite likely, a few good vets.
